From Anchorage, take the Palmer-Wasilla Highway (AK-1), heading south. Continue for approximately 15 miles to the Palmer/Wasilla Forest Service Road (FS-300). Turn left onto FS-300 and follow it for about 5 miles to the trailhead parking area. Look for signs marking the Lost Lake Trailhead.
